Pan Pacific Vancouver

What a beautiful property with an amazing view! Rooms are so well equipped and we were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade as we checked in late night. Did not end up using many amenities but seems to be super popular with the cruise crowd. Located close to many restaurants!

The Pan Pacific Hotel is a stunning waterfront property with an unbeatable location. One of the best parts is watching the cruise ships come and go in the morning right from your room. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s a great base for exploring downtown Vancouver. Only downside: the breakfast could use some improvement in variety and quality. But overall, it’s a great stay and I’d definitely come back.

5 Stars – Beautiful Hotel in a Perfect Location The Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver is a true gem, perfectly situated right in the heart of downtown and directly at the cruise ship docks. Its location alone makes it an ideal spot for travelers, whether you’re arriving, departing, or simply exploring the city. Although I didn’t stay overnight and can’t personally comment on the rooms, the rest of the property leaves no doubt that the accommodations are every bit as impressive as its reputation suggests. The hotel itself is strikingly beautiful, with an elegant, spacious interior that feels both modern and welcoming. It’s quite large, with multiple elevators, escalators, and plenty of areas to relax while waiting. One of the hotel’s most remarkable features is the view. From the windows and outdoor areas, you’re treated to sweeping vistas of Vancouver’s harbor, the surrounding mountains, and the city skyline. Watching the cruise ships come and go with that stunning backdrop makes the setting truly unforgettable. Inside, you’ll also find a selection of upscale shops and excellent dining options, which makes it convenient for guests and visitors alike. I spent several hours here after disembarking from our cruise ship while waiting for my airport transfer, and it turned out to be a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. From its prime location to its breathtaking views, atmosphere, and amenities, the Pan Pacific Vancouver is a standout hotel that perfectly complements the vibrant city around it. Even just passing through, it left a lasting impression, and I would gladly choose to stay here on a future visit.

We stayed a few nights at this hotel prior to our cruise and the location and convenience definitely did not disappoint. We had a beautiful view of the water from our room and got to enjoy a swim at the pool too. On our first day, we had breakfast and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere plus the variety of hot/cold items at the buffet was very enjoyable. We were lucky to have met Dan while he was attending to the buffet. He is truly the best, it was our first time in Vancouver and he gave us some great pointers on activities that we can do in the area and how to get around. We tried to go back to the restaurant to thank him the next day but did not see him :( If someone from the hotel reads this, kindly pass on our warmest gratitude to Dan!
